Throughout my years of teaching, I observed kids having so much fun exploring these objects. They are touching, feeling, naming, describing, and discussing the objects. The objects hold their attention longer. They are more engaged and thus retain the targeted learning goals better.

I carefully selected the objects to represent each letter’s beginning sound. The letter “X” will have objects with the sound in a different position, such as box and fox. Also, I include the long and short vowel objects. The hard and soft sounds for C and G will be in this kit as well. This is a convenient companion for your phonic lessons. Most of the objects are flat-back, about 0.4- 2 inch, (1 to 5 cm)

Material: mix of charms, metal, plastic, resin, wooden button, handmade items, cabochons, party favors, mini erasers, polymer clay pieces, clothing patches, laminated cardstock items etc.

The color of an object may be different from the one you receive. For example, the mat may be red, black or yellow
